The complete cover — corner blocks and roof slats visible
A heat pump moves far more air than an air conditioner, so the clearance above and around it is an operating matter, not a cosmetic one. This size is worked out so the enclosure does not raise your electricity bill.
Anthracite is what most customers pick, for a simple reason: RAL 7016 is the colour of the windows, gutters and fences on almost every house built since 2010. A cover in that shade does not become a new element of the facade — it joins what is already there. A dark surface is also more forgiving: dust, rain marks and small scratches are practically invisible on it, which matters for a unit standing close to the ground.

A 130 × 100 × 50 cm heat-pump cover
The size for units that move a lot of air. A heat pump pushes several times more air through its exchanger than an air conditioner of similar output, and an enclosure that is too tight does not spoil the looks, it raises the electricity bill: the unit draws in its own exhaust and runs longer for the same result. This size is worked out so the clearance above and beside the unit does not restrict the flow, and the back of the cover stays fully open.
What exactly you get
The price covers every part needed to build the whole cover, with no trip to a hardware shop: T-SLOT 20 × 20 frame profiles cut to size, eight three-way corner blocks together with a pack of M6 × 16 mm button-head socket screws to bolt them, 20 × 120 mm infill bars cut for this particular box, infill mounting sets — each already containing M5 × 8 mm low-profile screws and drop-in T-nuts — and a set of external plastic corner caps that close the edges. The itemised list with quantities and unit prices is printed alongside, above the enquiry button.
Why a 20 × 120 mm bar
All three ready boxes are costed on 20 × 120 mm bars, because that is the section our prototype uses and the spacing we tested on it. A wide bar gives a clear horizontal line, needs the fewest parts to bolt up and, with a 20 mm gap, leaves enough opening for the unit to breathe. If you prefer a tighter pattern or a wider bar, every section from 20 × 20 to 20 × 200 mm is in the Box parts section and the configurator will build a cover from them.
Colour and finish
The frame is anodised — silver or black — and the infill bars are powder coated to order, so the RAL colour costs nothing. We suggest RAL 7016 anthracite by default, because it matches the joinery and gutters of most new houses. The plastics we print in house from UV and frost resistant PET-G, in a colour matched to the bars or deliberately contrasting.
Assembly and delivery
The box ships flat, in one carton. Tools needed: a 4 mm hex key for the corner blocks, a 3 mm one for the M5 screws in the frame slot, and a cordless driver with a hex socket — that last one drives the self-drilling screws that join the printed mounts to the infill bars. Nothing to cut or weld, because every length is cut to size and the screws drill their own holes. The structure comes apart, so for a service call you lift off a wall of bars and put it back afterwards.
Box L — 130 × 100 × 50 cm, anthracite RAL 7016
For heat pumps and the heavier units.
The graphite of window frames and gutters. The cover recedes against the wall instead of drawing the eye — the safest choice with dark window frames.
